Ed Sheeran Shares R-Rated Pet Name Sir Elton John Gave Him

On Friday December 10th we held our Z100 Jingle Ball NYC concert event sponsored by Capital One at the world famous Madison Square Garden with performances by Ed Sheeran, Jonas Brother, Lil Nas X, AJR, Kane Brown, Tate MCCrae, Bazzi, Dixie D'Amelio and Tai Verde.

Fresh off of opening JingleBall tonight Ed Sheeran spoke with Elvis Duran backstage at the Mercedes-Benz Interview Lounge for an exclusive talk and shared that he's heading back home right away to be with the most important women in his life ❤️ his wife, Cherry and their daughter Lyra Antarctica. "I'm missing stuff, she's starting to say words and stuff and I never wanted to be that guy. I was there for her first steps, her first words. Stuffs happening quickly" he tells Elvis. "I'm ready to go home for Christmas to my daughter" he continues.

Ed also gave up all the deets on shooting the 'Merry Christmas' video with Sir Elton John who is not a fan of doing videos. "Jason the Video Director set up for ten days and we timed it all perfectly because Elton doesn't like music videos...we got Elton in for two hours and just did it! It was so crazy" he says. Ed also shares if there was ever a time when he felt nervous about working with such an ICON like Elton John and how he became more at ease around Elton. Ed says that the legendary musician uses "innuendos and swear words" to make people feel more at ease which Ed says he likes. "He calls me his little C-word" 😆 Ed confesses to Elvis.
