Apparently you can bring a movie projector through TSA and watch movies during your flight?
The TSA just went viral after they recently shared that you can actually bring a projector with you through security and watch movies on your flight without getting in trouble and I'm 100% here for it!
The video, which you can see below, shows the passenger setting up their projector mid-flight to display The Patriot onto the overhead luggage bins and as far as we know he didn't get in any trouble or receive any complaints.
Honestly, if the movie is displayed where it's not bothering people then they are totally okay to do so. However, you might want to double-check with your fellow co-passengers before firing up the projector in their eyes to watch your favorite movie!
Also friendly reminder that these are the TSA's current policies on electronics:
- Large electronic devices are allowed in carry-on bags, but some may require additional screening.
- Any device larger than a cell phone should be removed from your bag and placed in a separate bin.
- Devices in factory packaging are allowed, but they may need to be unwrapped if additional screening is required."
