One of the most fun parts about getting married is when you and your partner get to pick out gifts for your wedding registry and now you can shop even more local because Etsy has launched their own wedding registry service!
The service is called Etsy Registry and you are able to select any handmade, vintage, and personalized items and list them on your Etsy wedding registry like you would with Target, Amazon, or Crate & Barrel.
Etsy launched the service after a rise in wedding-related searches on the website, which most likely was for decor or small gifts, and now you have another source to register at if you're looking for custom gifts made by real people.
Etsy also released a wedding trend guide and these are their hot wedding trends for 2023 so far:
- Lovecore - Heart patterns, roses and the colors red and pink
- Oversized florals - Big flowers are in, with searches on Etsy for floral wedding dresses up by 78%.
- Western weddings - More couples are going western for their big day, as Etsy has seen a 40% increase in searches for western wedding dresses.
- Love story gifts - Custom gifts that celebrate a couple’s unique love story are also becoming more popular.s.
