Our two worlds collided this past weekend as Keivonn Woodard from The Last Of Us got to meet and skate with the Capitals at their practice facility!
Keivonn plays Sam in The Last Of Us and is actually from Prince George's County where he plays for the Bowie Hockey Club and he actually got to meet Alex Ovechkin and teach him how to sign his name.
On top of that, Keivonn also got to tour the Capitals' practice facility, skate and practice drills with the team, and hang out with former Capitals forward Devante Smith-Pelly.
Keivonn was also honored alongside other youth players as "Rising Stars" during the Capitals-Rangers game this weekend and the Capitals also provided a $10,000 grant to the Bowie Hockey Club where a portion of the grant will be used to support Keivonn with an ASL interpreter and special hockey equipment.
