Did you happen to notice anyone starting into the camera and smiling at you over the weekend? Turns out you weren't alone and it's all because of a genius marketing campaign for the movie Smile!
The horror movie is set to release later this week and the studio behind the movie actually hired people to attend major sporting events and even the TODAY Show and just stare into the camera and smile for hours. The best part is that the marketing worked because Google searches for "smiling girl" went through the roof this weekend, which led people to the film's trailer.
