Friendly reminder that Halloween is only a few weeks away and if you haven't thought about your Halloween costume you might want to start working on that and also start thinking about your pet's costume!
A new survey from WAG! found that 59% of pet parents this year will actually dress up and bring their pets trick or treating with them this year and while we're not opposed to it, part of us feels like Halloween should still be about your kids trick or treating.
The survey also asked how much pet parents plan to spend on just their pet's costume and a majority of both dog and cat owners said they plan to spend more than $25 on their pet's costume without even seeing if they will wear the costume.
As for the most common pet costumes this year, get ready to see a TON of pets dressed up as superheroes and even specific breeds in specific costumes because somehow that's a thing including:
- Great Dane + Jurassic Park dinosaur
- Pitbull + Thor
- Cavalier King Charles Spaniel + Bridgerton character
- Shih-‐tzu + Winifred from Hocus Pocus
- German Shepherd + Batman
- Golden Retriever + Spiderman
- Chihuahua + Yoda
