It looks like even Barry Allen can't outrun The CW ending shows because The Flash will officially end after its upcoming ninth season on The CW!
The CW announced that The Flash's ninth season will comprise of 13 episodes with the series finale airing sometime in 2023 which will make it one of the final Arrowverse shows to end.
The Flash is currently one of the network's longest-running series as of right now as it originally started as a spinoff to 2011's Arrow which starred Stephen Amell as Green Arrow. Since then the "Arrowverse" went on to include multiple superhero shows like Supergirl, Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning and Superman & Lois, which have all ended besides the Superman-themed show.
Also I can't go any further in this without mentioning how The Flash and Arrow inspired Kevin and I to start our podcast Crisis On Infinite Podcasts where we initially just recapped every episode of shows in the Arrowverse.
There's no word on exactly when Season 9 will premiere, but get ready for a lot of tears on Episode 13 as the Arrowverse comes to a conclusion.
