How much did you spend on being in someone's wedding party? Turns out the costs are only getting more expensive in recent years!
While we're in the heart of wedding season, a new survey from LendingTree found that the average cost of someone in a bridal party is about $825 per wedding.
This includes pre-wedding activities like a bachelor/bachelorette party and the actual costs needed for the wedding and it also varies based on if you are the maid of honor/best man or not.
The biggest cost for weddings seemed to be the attire with bridesmaids spending an average of $130 on just their dress and groomsmen spending $170. However, that doesn't include hair and makeup, which stacks on top of just your clothes.
You can read more from the survey HERE, but if someone's on the fence about putting you in their bridal party just know that your wallet will thank you if you just attend the wedding as guest instead!
