If you're a diehard Nationals fan, or just been to one game, you know that the Racing Presidents are a HUGE deal to Nats fans and now you can get paid to become one thanks to the Nationals' latest job posting!
The Nationals are looking for a new Racing President and the main requirement is that you have the "ability to run from centerfield to first base in a 50-pound costume.
Other requirements include being between 5 foot 7 and 6 foot 6 in height and being able to attend at least 40% of Nats home games, but if selected you can take on the likeness of either Abe, Teddy, George, or Thomas.
As one of the four acting presidents your duties will also include visiting with fans before the game, posing for photos with fans and taking part in the holiest of traditions, the Seventh Inning Stretch.
While you don't need previous as a mascot, you do need to be at least 18 and have your high school diploma or GED, as well as a full COVID vaccination. To apply you can go HERE and if you get the job let us know so we can always side with you in the races!
