Dr. Karan Rajan normally bust health myths on his TikTok and it turns out that there is actual research that shows having fat in the "gluteofemoral region" of one's bottom area can actually reduce the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
Apparently fat in that region can store fatty acids and prevent it from going to your internal organs and it's based on a study that found that people with thicker thighs had lower blood pressure after running.
