If you're an iPhone user and love using Apple's Weather app there might be something you've not noticed until now - Apple will never list the weather as 69 degrees!
It turns out that the built-in weather app on some versions of iOS, including iOS 14.6, will refuse to display the internet’s favorite number, even if the actual temperature in a given location is 69 degrees.
It’s not clear if this is a bug or Apple trying to prevent 69-related humor, but the weather app will straight up not show 69 degrees on either the current temperature, hourly forecast, or extended forecast.
Several people have pointed out that the bug might be because the iOS Weather app converts Celsius to Fahrenheit, which leads to rounding issues because the same thing happens when it's 65 degrees outside.
Who knows if Apple will ever address the bug, but one day it'd be cool to see it's 69 degrees outside and reply "Nice!"
