Smart Rings Could Be The Next Form Of Touchless Payments

If you're tired of having to tap your phone to card readers then get ready for the future because smart rings could soon become the next form of touchless payment!

Japanese health and beauty retailer MTG has struck a deal with Visa which will enable wearers of its ‘Evering’ smart ring to pay for items by hovering their hand over a payment terminal.

The best part is that the ring doesn't need charging at all and will allow you to track your spending through an app. A ring will set you back about $180 and another perk is that you won't have to worry about how dirty your phone gets from touching it to random card readers.

Just watch out for accidentally tapping your ring near a cash register because it might activate!!
