We're one step closer to the world returning back to normal because Regal Cinemas just announced that it will be opening all of its theaters nationwide starting on April 2nd!
Regal's parent company, Cineworld, announced the news earlier this week that its 536 theaters in the US will take part in a phased reopening that will "allow guests at limited capacity based on local guidelines."
Regal is the second-largest theater chain in the US, behind AMC Theaters, and the chain temporarily closed all of its locations back in March 2020 and have sit empty ever since then, but now you might start seeing employees flocking back to clean and update everything in the theater.
One of the first new movies Regal Cinemas will be showing will be Godzilla vs. Kong so if you've been missing your popcorn and movie candy then plan a date during the weekend of April 2nd.
