Getting a PlayStation 5 and/or new Xbox is no easy task, even in 2021, but IKEA is ready to help you get the right-sized furniture for your new consoles with their new cardboard cutouts!
The Swedish furniture retailer is actually supplying customers with cardboard cutouts of each next-gen system to anyone who is shopping in their stores to see if they will actually fit in any new furniture you're interested in.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X are "big boys" and, speaking from personal experience, barely fit in my entertainment center from IKEA so this is a great service IKEA is doing to help you get ready for next-gen!
You can see what the cardboard cutouts look like below and they have been made to scale so if they fit in the Brimnes TV stand you're trying to buy, then you are in the clear!
