Friendly reminder that if you are hosting Thanksgiving this year that you might want to buy all your ingredients as soon as possible and Whole Foods has the perfect incentive for you to buy your turkey from their stores.
The grocery chain has partnered with Progressive Insurance to create a "Thanksgiving Turkey Protection Plan," which lets anyone who purchased a Whole Foods branded turkey between November 11th-22nd be eligible to get a new turkey if things go wrong on Thanksgiving.
Essentially you'll get a $35 Whole Foods gift card if any mishaps happen on Thanksgiving and you'll only need to submit your receipt, a picture of the turkey, and a quick explanation of what went wrong to be eligible for the gift card.
You do have to file for the insurance between November 26th and 27th and also know that the gift card is limited to the first 1,000 claims so if you're going to mess up your turkey make sure you do it early!
