Netflix Is Testing Out A Channel With Scheduled Programming

US-IT-NETFLIX

If you're like me you spend at least a good five minutes on Netflix just trying to decide on what to watch, but Netflix is hoping to help fix that by having a dedicated channel that will play scheduled programming throughout the day.

Last week Netflix revealed that they will testing their "Direct" feature that works just like a normal TV channel and will be scheduled out every 24 hours with select shows and movies. The channel is always running so you can tune in and out if you need something to be in the background or want to try a new show.

Direct is only being tested in France right now, but Netflix will gradually deploy the feature over the next few months globally. Now we can try something new once The Office is taken off at the end of the year!
