Everyone has a go-to whenever they feel stressed or frustrated, but it turns out that we can all agree that videos of cute animals make us feel better and a new study just proved that!
A new study from the University of Leeds found that watching images or videos of cute animals actually helps ease stress and reduce our anxiety levels. Researchers found that viewing 30 minutes of any cute animals can lower blood pressure and your heart rate, which helps with stress and anxiety.
The study was done on college students during winter exams, when everyone's stress levels are super-high, and found that almost every student's anxiety level went down by 35% after watching the videos.
