We can all agree that Netflix adding every season of Avatar: The Last Airbender a few months ago was the smartest move they have made in the past few years, but they might have ruined all that good faith by removing the show's original creators from their live-action adaptation.
While the Internet was stoked for Netflix to make a live-action show adaptation of the hit series because Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the creators of the original series, were going to be part of the show, but it was just announced that they had both left the project.
Neither of them had a specific reason for why they left the adaptation, but they both cited creative differences, which was one of the reasons they weren't part of the live-action movie in 2010.
Now I'm not saying that this is going to make the upcoming live-action adaptation horrible, but we might miss out on that magic we all experienced from the original show.
If you need something to help calm you down after the news just be ready for The Legend of Korra to hit Netflix on August 14th and sing your heart out to the BESTAvatar song below!
