Unsold Guinness Beer Is Being Used To Fertilize Christmas Trees

Make sure to grab an extra case of Guinness beer when you can as a thank you to them for saving Christmas this year!

As the coronavirus pandemic shut down bars, restaurants and venues across the world, many beer-makers suddenly found themselves with the same problem with tons of kegs of unused beer piling up.

So Guinness has reportedly been using hundreds of thousands of unused kegs of beer to fertilize Christmas trees!

The beer-maker has begun sending the “vast majority” of their beer to willow and Christmas tree farms where it can be used as nutrients for the plants to help grow more trees.

Now you know that if you need to fertilize a plant, but only have beer in the fridge, that you're going to be alright!
