New video games come out every day on every platform, which is why I wanted to put together a short list of the games you NEED to play, or at least watch for each month!
There's a game for everybody on this list no matter your age or gaming platform and as the resident "Gaming Expert" of the show I figured this would help you save time and money on games that aren't worth you, your family, or your friends time!
Here are some of the big games, along with a short description and release platform, coming out in June:
The Last Of Us Part II
Release Date: June 19
Platform(s): PS4
What's It About?: If you love "zombie" games and learning about how the world will work in a post-apocalyptic setting then this one is for you! This is a sequel, but you can easily watch a recap video or a play-through before you get your hands on the game. I will let you know that it is a Mature game, but if you love the Uncharted games or Red Dead Redemption II then this is for you!
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated
Release Date: June 23
Platform(s): PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, & PC
What's It About?: This is a remaster of the classic 2003 game that we all played as kids back in the heyday of SpongeBob Squarepants and is perfect for anyone who loved the game back then or want to introduce their kids to the game. It's available on EVERY platform and is a great family game because who doesn't love SpongeBob?
Star Wars Episode 1: Racer
Release Date: June 23
Platform(s): PS4 & Nintendo Switch
What's It About?: Now THIS is podracing! We all know that podracing might have been one of the better parts of The Phantom Menace and now you can relive the glory days of playing the podracing game at Chuck E. Cheese! Plus on the Nintendo Switch you can use the Joy-Cons like you are steering your actual podracer.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield: The Isle Of Armor (DLC)
Release Date: June 17
Platform(s): Nintendo Switch
What's It About?: This is the first proper DLC for any of the mainline Pokémon games and is part of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield's Expansion Pass. If you loved Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield then you're going to want to get this to continue your journey!
