If you have ever wanted to help rename a city, then now is your chance because an online petition is calling for the city of Columbus, Ohio to be renamed Flavortown in honor of Guy Fieri.
The petition currently has over 14,000 signatures as of this writing and is asking for the city's council and leadership to change the name to honor Fieri who was born in Columbus before he moved to California and got huge thanks to shows like Diners, Drive-Ins, and Drives and Guy's Grocery Games.
The petition points out that changing the name to Flavortown not only honors the city's "proud heritage as a culinary crossroads," but also honors "the nation's largest test markets for the food industry," the petition states.
The petition has gained so much traction that Bud Light is offering free spiked seltzers for all residents of Flavortown if the city does go through with changing its name!
