Animal Crossing has taken the world by storm ever since it launched last month and thanks to coronavirus it has been the one escape for thousands of people, including Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC)!
AOC tweeted out yesterday that she had just purchased Animal Crossing and wanted to visit other people's islands and she actually opened her DMs to give her followers a chance to invite her to their in-game island.
She then proceeded to actually visit various people's island throughout the night and say what you will about her, but it's such a cool way to connect with your constituents even during a pandemic! Check out some of her screenshots from other people's island below!
Also apparently AOC will be guest starring on Rogue One writer Gary Whitta's Animal Crossing talk show in the next few weeks so stay tuned for that in the near future!
