If you had/were making plans to attend San Diego Comic-Con this year then you might want to cancel them because the annual media convention is cancelling this year due to the coronavirus pandemic!
Over the weekend the organizers behind the convention, Comic-Con International, announced that for the first time in 50 years that they will not be holding a convention for the safety and health of all of its guests, vendors, and attendees.
For the past 50 years San Diego Comic-Con has served as a huge event for shows and movies to announce new trailers, new cast members, and other huge reveals, and usually took place in July. Obviously this won't be happening this year, but it will be interesting to see how big companies deal without a huge forum to reveal new information.
Organizers have said that they plan on San Diego Comic-Con returning on July 22-25, 2021 so get your vacations planned early everybody! For more information, and if you need to get a refund on your tickets, you can go HERE.
