Uber is Now Offering a "Non-Stop Uber Pool!"

Get ready to start WANTING to use Uber's "Uber Pool" option because the ride-share service will actually pay YOU to take that method instead of a normal Uber!

To encourage more shared rides on Uber, your request for a solo UberX ride could become a "Non-Stop Shared Ride!" Starting this week Uber will ask if you'd be willing to take the last seat in an Uber Pool. The benefit from this option is that you're guaranteed to get dropped off first AND get some Uber Cash for the different type of ride.

You can always click "no thanks" and carry on with your private ride with no need to explain or have anyone know you declined to carpool. You do need to order an UberX for it to pop up, but it's not guaranteed.

The non-stop option will be in 16 U.S. cities to start, and here are the select cities so you can try it out:

  • Austin
  • Boston
  • Chicago
  • Denver
  • Las Vegas
  • Los Angeles
  • Miami
  • Nashville
  • New Jersey
  • Philadelphia
  • Portland
  • San Diego
  • San Francisco
  • Seattle
  • Washington, D.C.
