If you hated the annoying Microsoft Office assistant named Clippy then you're going to really hate when someone tries to "paperclip" you!

"Paperclipping" is the newest dating trend that involves an ex trying to contact you months after you both broke up! Essentially the person tries to target an ex to try and convince them they should get back together, but you probably shouldn't.

Now I'm not her to judge you for hooking up with an ex, but just be aware if it's happening to you!

The term was inspired by Brooklyn-based artist Samantha Rothenberg’s illustration featuring “damaged, flaky” people “who pop up for no reason at all," which you can see below.
