Get ready to plug in and enter the Matrix again because a prequel film set in The Matrix universe is reportedly in the works and it may star Michael B. Jordan!
Apparently Warner Bros. is trying to get Michael B. Jordan to play a young Morpheus, who was previously played by Laurence Fishburne, in the prequel film that will focus on how the movie got to where it was when Keanu Reeves' Neo entered the franchise. Also the Wachowskis are being asked to return to the franchise as well!
If you think about it now is the perfect time to try and make a new entry in the franchise since it has been almost 16 years since The Matrix Revolutions. Also Cyberpunk 2077 is coming out early next year which would get us all ready for a new Matrix!
