Just in case you need ANOTHER reminder, but today is Election Day and something I just learned is that a lack of transportation was the third most common reason for not voting.
This is why a ton of ride-share and other transportation services are offering discounts to help get you to your nearest polling place. Here are some of the ones that are offered in pretty much every city near you:
- Uber - Get $10 off a single ride to the polls on Election Day with the code "VOTE2018"
- Lyft - Get 50% off or up to $5 off a ride by visiting their blog for the discount
- Lime - Get a free ride up to 30 minutes with the code "LIME2VOTE18"
- Zipcar - If you use Zipcar from 6pm-10pm on Election Day you can get $20 off a future trip
