Ewan McGregor to Play Black Mask in DC's "Birds of Prey"

It's been rumored for a few weeks that DC was casting its villain for the upcoming Birds of Prey movie and we now know that Ewan McGregor has been picked to play Black Mask in the film!

You probably know McGregor from when he played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels or for Christopher Robin, no judgement there, but I'm stoked to see him play another iconic nerd role.

Black Mask is normally Batman villain as he has appeared in the comics since 1985 and was even a villain in the video game Arkham Origins.

Essentially he is a mobster that is obsessed with masks, but how dope does he look just in the image from the video game below!

We know that the Birds of Prey movie has Margot Robbie, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Mary Elizabeth instead as Harley Quinn, Black Canary, and Huntress respectively so it already looks like this cast is going to be packed.

You can probably expect the film in late 2019 or early 2020, but get ready for all the awesome crossovers on the Internet, like this one to happen:
