I feel like my mom would do this too, but a dog owner's tweet is going viral because his mom completely misidentified their dog.
The mom got a notification on her phone that a dog was missing and so she asked her son if it was their dog even though it didn't look anything like their dog at all! The texts between the mom and son are below.
I though parents going through the "gauntlet of names" in your family was awkward, but forgetting what your dog even looks like must have made their pet feel SUPER AWKWARD!!
