Tom Holland's Spider-Man Has Been in Marvel Movies Since 2010?!

I'm so excited for Spider-Man: Homecoming to come out and Marvel may have just made every Spidey fan even more excited because they just confirmed a popular fan theory!

Back in 2010's Iron Man 2, Iron Man gets into a big battle at the end of the movie. At one point, we see a little kid in an Iron Man mask face a killer robot, before Iron Man saves the day. Tony tosses off a quick "Nice work, kid!" before flying off. Here's the scene below:

Turns out that the kid grows up to be Spider-Man himself, aka Peter Parker!!

Head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige confirmed to Tom Holland that they retroactively made this canon (part of the story) because the fight takes place in Spidey's hometown of Queens, New York and I'm totally digging it!

How awesome is it that Peter Parker actually meets Iron Man and then ends up becoming a hero?! Good job Marvel! You da real MVP!

And if you want to hear more about what this means for the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe or if the SNES Classic will be worth it, then just listen to CRISIS ON INFINITE PODCASTS every Thursday!
