Police are pursuing an ambulance that was stolen from a Prince George's County hospital Friday morning.
The unoccupied ambulance was stolen from Prince George's Hospital Center just after 6 a.m., fire officials said on Twitter.
Authorities say the suspect drove the ambulance into Charles County, where he or she made a u-turn at Naval Support Facility Indian Head.
Charles County police said they put down spikes, deflating all of the ambulance's tires, but the suspect continued driving on rims back into Prince George's County.
Local police agencies are currently pursuing the ambulance.
