All day yesterday one photo was completely dominating my timeline because EVERY girl I follow, and a couple of guys, was posting it to get a free swimsuit!
As a part of Sunny Co Clothing's publicity stunt, the company posted the initial picture and then said that if anyone reposted it they would get a free code to use to get the swimsuit in the picture for free. What they didn't account for is how viral it went! Their account went from 100,00 followers to over 700,000 in 24 horus and the picture was reposted over a million times!
For a second we almost faced a red bathing suit apocalypse where every girl in the summer would be wearing the same red bathing suit! How awkward would that be?
But as soon as it went viral, Sunny Co decided to just give away the outfit with another Instagram post that had the promo code included. Needless to say the bathing suit completely sold out and now thousands of girls are instantly deleting their reposts to be cool and such!
