Is Swim and Dash a thing? Well this Australian man and "aspiring rapper" Terry Peck just tried to make it a thing.
After eating two lobsters, 21 vodka oyster shots, a baby octopus and a ton of beers at a restaurant on the Gold Coast his bill came up to $621!
But, as Southport Magistrates court heard Monday, he didn't pay for any of it.
Instead, he ran straight down the beach and into the ocean!
Peck, who goes by "2Pec" refused to come to shore, so police on jet skis were sent after him, and he was arrested mid-ocean.
According to the news outlet the 2Pec, who was on parole at the time of the incident, told reporters the lobsters were "overcooked" anyway. So he run was very justifiable.
