Last weekend I got the chance to go to a HUGE convention in Chicago called "FanFest" that not only had tons of celebrities from The CW's superhero shows, but also a large portion of the cast from The Walking Dead!
You might be wondering what a comic book/nerdy convention would look like so think of this as your free look into what went down that weekend!
What's at the Convention:
Throughout the entire convention there was a myriad of vendors, photo ops, free snacks, meet-and-greet areas, art, and even a blood drive! You essentially walked about a mile to get to the end of the convention space!
The celebrities that were featured at the convention came from shows such as: The Walking Dead, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Westworld, Gotham, Agents of Shield, Dexter, Guardians of the Galaxy, Gilmore Girls, and more!
My favorite vendor was a collector who was selling collectibles from all across television and film history including action figures, memorabilia, and clothing! Needless to say, I spent a good chunk of change!
So you could wait in line at each celebrity's booth to get them to sign something for you or take a selfie with them OR you could pay a little more to take a professional photo with them. I obviously went that route and got to take pictures with Stephen Amell and Milo Ventimiglia!
You wait in line to take a picture with them and it's ultimately up to them how your picture goes, but luckily they both liked me enough to smile and touch me!
I also got the chance to interview David Ramsey, who play Diggle on The CW's Arrow, during the convention and man is he jacked with tons of muscles! He could literally bench press me if he wanted to:
Tons of fans dressed up as their favorite characters and even though we didn't get everyone dressed up in costume, there had to be at least a third of the attendees were in cosplay! You know you're in the right place when a zombie is eating nachos and a batman is buying action figures of himself!
Several actors and casts had panels on the main stage which can mean a number of things, but in this case, what most of the actors did a Q&A with the fans. Fans had the opportunity to ask any question they want and some of them were pretty entertaining!

The convention ended at 5 on Sunday so I had a bunch of free time to goof around in "Chi-Town" so Javi and I obviously went downtown and found the famous "Bean," got Giardano's Pizza and saw the Chicago Theater!
