Rufio the mohawked-teen alongside Robin Williams' Peter Pan in Hook, will be getting his own origin story thanks to a Kickstarter campaign!
Titled Bangarang, the campaign right now is focused on making a short film and follows the journey of young Roofus as he becomes Rufio.
The campaign has already passed its initial goal of $30,000 and the team hopes to raise $200,000 ti make the short film a feature-length film. Even Dante Basco, the originial Rufio, is involved in the project as an executive producer.
The movie is looking for THREE 13-year-olds to play the main cast and it would be so sick to be the teen who gets to play Rufio and don the red mohawk!
