McDonald's will now be serving a snow crab sandwich, starting at four San Francisco Bay Area restaurants.
The sandwich was created by Ryan Scott, who was on Top Chef and consists of crab meat mixed with celery and seasoned mayo on romaine lettuce and tomato, on a sourdough bun. If successful, the snow crab sandwich could pose a threat to the McDonald's standard Filet-O-Fish.
If all goes well, the sandwich could be available in about 250 stores later this year. However, the sandwiches are only available in nearly 240 stores throughout the San Francisco.
