Last week was a crazy busy week at the show, so I decided to take a week off from posting and save my energy to be a good intern and also annoy Erick. Plus, I gave y’all a ton of the inside scoop two weeks ago when I released two blogs in two days!
Why was last week so busy you ask? Well, we (the show?) decided Riley is a nice lady and we should keep her. Seriously though, she's awesome. Kane announced last week Riley will be staying and suddenly the stars aligned. In all honesty, it was a great day on the show full of warm fuzzies and funny stories. However, we do sincerely apologize if you crashed your car when her reaction recording was played. When I heard it I may have jumped high enough to be entered into a hurdling event, but hey the show loves to share these moments with you!
As for Riley, well she is awesome! I will do a separate blog post on her so you can meet the new woman behind the mic. What I do want to add is with her the show is whole, and I like whole. Like a whole pizza, or a whole cake ... that's enough about food but you get the picture.
In other news, last week Kala, Hoody and I got to go to the Escape Room with the promotions department since they did such an awesome job with Jingle Ball. We picked the Titanic room and lets just say, it was extremely fun but anxiety inducing. Thoughts like, 'Will we ever get out?' or 'How will I eat Taco Bell again?' were going through my head. Luckily, we got out with 12 minutes left to spare or should I say before ending up like Jack Dawson with the Titanic. I even told Hoody he could have the door if the ship goes down, but thankfully we didn’t have to resort to that. It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend everyone checking it out! They even have a bar at the place if that's what you're into.
It's awesome to work with such fun people, who are also smart enough to get us off a sinking ship. Other than that the week was full of typical show stuff that I'll dish more about in another blog post. I'm trying not to make these too long which is extremely hard for me!
