The long wait for a new Game of Thrones book is over! Unfortunately, the new book isn't exactly what you think it is.
Instead, the new installment will be a short story from George R.R. Martin which will be included in an upcoming anthology. While no big plot details have been revealed, you can actually pre-order the book on Amazon right now for dirt cheap when it releases in October.
The last time George R.R. Martin published anything new from the Game of Thrones universe was a compilation in 2014, but the HBO series will come back for its SEVENTH season presumably in April!
