When it's chilled-to-the-bone cold outside, there are really only two things that can help: a lot of layers, or a liquor blanket. Preferably both. The 686xPBR Sixer, a genius insulated jacket, makes it easy by keeping wearers warm and a day's worth of beer cold.
Athletic apparel company 686 and Pabst Blue Ribbon collaborated on the project last fall, and while the jackets are limited edition, there are still some left on the store's site. Each jacket stores 12 beers in a variety of sneaky locations. There are front pockets lined to keep beer cold and fitted with compression elastic to keep cans stable (no shaken beers here), and a "stay up coozie pocket" to hold the beer you're currently working on.
There's also a chest-zipper cooler pocket, a mesh lining across the inside of the jacket that holds four tall-boys, and two more on the chest. This jacket basically turns you into a walking bodega. It's geared toward snowboarders or skiers spending a day on the slopes, but is just as useful for a day fishing or wandering around a ski lodge.
The jacket sells for $250, and comes with a bottle opener keychain, because of course. As for the jacket itself, it's made with Air-Flo Mesh Lined Under Arm Vents and infiDRY Fabric. It also features the PBR logo and hidden phrases like "What'll you have?"
