Bacardi Rum Tasting & Ladies Night!
As soon as I got off the plane we immediately got ready and went to do a Bacardi Rum Tasting Tour! At the Casa Bacardi, my friends and I were able to tour where Bacardi makes their rum and then we got to do a tasting of all of their rum!
All of it!
We also only had one meal that day since we were traveling!
All of that drinking lead to this photo [MIDDLE] commemorating the experience!
That night we immediately went to find food and we found the BEST food at Puerto De Vista. It is a small rooftop restaurant! There the waiter literally wrote out where we should go out for our entire trip and he was not wrong! Since we flew in on a Wednesday it was Ladies Night at Senor Frog where they sold drinks in a 3 foot tall cup! WOOOO! I have no idea how I woke up the next morning!
Mandatory Beach Day!
Now you cannot go to an island without heading to the beach! Honestly this was one of the BEST beach days. We got to sit right on the beach, it wasn't crowded and have food delivered right to us! I felt expensive but it was $5 for a chair. $15 for lunch. $20 for perfection!
ATV Through El Yunke, Puerto Rico Rainforest!
Now, I cannot drive so I had to be a passenger but since I wasn't focusing on driving I as able to focus on the views!
Parasailing over Puerto Rico!
I have been parasailing before but this one was more interesting. Normally one would go to the dock and get on a boat and then that boat would saily out to sea where they strap you in a harness and fly you between 400 -1000 feet.
[First time I did it, several years ago, I did 800 feet but this time the highest was 400 feet and it did not disappoint.]
Well there was no dock on this excursion. We had to swim to a very small boat that could hold 3 people max, then climb from that boat to a bigger boat in the middle of the ocean ALL before the actual parasailing. I cannot swim and I am 100% my life vest did most of the swimming!
Exploring Old San Juan!
Fun fact! Most of the stores in Old San Juan close at 6 P.M because that is when visitors from cruise ships head back to the boat. That meaning that my friends and I had to hurry to Old San Juan, after parasailing, to do a little shopping and check out the cobble stone street.
Old San Juan is beautiful BTW!
