During Comic-Con yesterday, attendees got to see a new trailer for an original Netflix film starring Will Smith called Bright.
Netflix purchased the rights to the film for $100 million to include Smith, screenwriter Max Landis, and Suicide Squad director David Ayer.
Here is the movie's official plot synopsis: “Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been co-existing since the beginning of time,” its description reads, “Bright is genre-bending action movie that follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward (Will Smith) and Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), embark on a routine patrol night and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.”
The movie’s cast also includes Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Ike Barinholtz (the guard from Suicide Squad), Edgar Ramirez and Margaret Cho. The film will release exclusively on Netflix on December 22, but it looks like another awesome addition to Netflix's original content lineup!
