It's now been four days since I was able to go to a party at the home of Kelly Clarkson, and I'm still not sure if I believe it.
True life: I was invited to a house party at her home in Nashville, with several other radio friends, so we could listen to her new music. [Her album "Meaning of Life" is out October 27!] It's something country artists do all the time, but pop artists would never think of doing it.
Kelly Clarkson has been one of my FAVORITES since Idol. I'm an Idol super-freak, I PROUDLY saw From Justin to Kelly in theaters, and I've never missed an episode. Beyond all that Idol stuff- Kelly is a one of a kind, humble, hilarious human being that I've always looked up to.
Turns out- she's even more humble, hilarious, and kind in person. I was not prepared for how awesome she really was.
Her house was gorgeous, and much like I'd imagined. Glamorous, with a lot of country touches- Deer on the walls, saddles for barstools, and the most beautiful lit-up playground I've ever seen. I couldn't get over the fact that her son Seth was swinging on there, very slowly, trying to creep out some of the guests. She said he loves doing that kind of stuff.
I wanted to take pics of everything, and I tried.. but my phone has totally crapped out so I had to steal some of these from my friend Kobi. You'll also see how much I was geeking out in the Snapchat story video.
