Ever since I've been working with Humane Rescue Alliance on my Babe of the Week, I've been coming across a lot more dog breeds, and finding a lot more that I love. I'm also discovering a lot on social media... but more on those later.
The annual list of the most popular breeds has been released by the American Kennel Club, and it's pretty consistent with recent years:
- Labrador
- German Shepherd
- Golden Retriever
- Bulldog
- Beagle
- French Bulldog
- Poodle
- Rottweiler
- Yorkshire Terrier
- Boxer
I'm kinda surprised poodles haven't gone up after all the love they're getting on social lately, but maybe that's just because I'm obsessed with labradoodles....
