These Ten Video Games Increase Your Heart Rate The Most

Starting this off with something a little personal, but I have a heart murmur, which means I have an irregular heartbeat, so when new studies come out about heart rate I always love reading them, but a new study combines my two favorite things: video games and heart rates!

UK price comparison website Compare the Market recently performed a study which revealed the ten video games that increase a player's BPM (Beats Per Minute) the most and it turns out that we're ALL scared by clickers in The Last Of Us!

The average BPM for someone playing Last Of Us was about 90.9 BPM, which increased in almost 50% of everyone in the study! The weird thing is that Call of Duty: Warzone took the second spot and it's most likely because of the pressure of being one of the last remaining players in the game.

Here are the other ten games and the average BPMs for each game:

  1. The Last of Us - 90.9 BPM
  2. Call of Duty: Warzone - 86.3 BPM
  3. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout - 82 BPM
  4. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - 81.7 BPM
  5. FIFA 21 - 81.4 BPM
  6. Fortnite - 81.1 BPM
  7. Red Dead Redemption 2 - 80.3 BPM
  8. Grand Theft Auto V - 77.9 BPM
  9. NBA 2K20 - 77.4 BPM
  10. Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - 75 BPM
