We're one step closer to FINALLY seeing The Rock suit up as Black Adam because it was just announced that Aldis Hodge will be playing the superhero Hawkman in the upcoming DC movie!
According to our friends at The Hollywood Reporter Hodge is in "final negotiations" to play the role in Black Adam alongside Dwayne "The Rock" John son and Noah Centineo, in which Hodge will play a prominent member of the Justice Society of America (aka an earlier form of the Justice League).
You've most likely seen Hodge in The Invisible Man or One Night in Miami earlier this year, and he's also made appearances in Hidden Figures, Straight Outta Compton, and Black Mirror.
Black Adam is scheduled to come out in December 2021, but obviously with coronavirus it might be moved to a later date.
