Get ready to see Taylor Lautner return to one of his most ICONIC roles because Sharkboy and Lavagirl are returning in Robert Rodriguez's next movie planned for Netflix!
Called We Can Be Heroes, Rodriguez, who directed The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 2005, announced that both characters will return in his superhero film and it's already been confirmed that Taylor Dooley, who played Lavagirl is coming back.
The new film will focus on a group of super-powered kids whose superhero parents have mysteriously vanished and have to save the world.
It's very similar to Spy Kids, which Rodriguez also directed, but Sharkboy and Lavagirl's child is supposed to be in the film and have both shark AND lava powers.
If you haven't seen The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl you can check out the trailer below and as of right now We Can Be Heroes doesn't have a release date, but will release on Netflix.
