Star Wars: The Bad Batch Is The Next Star Wars Show On Disney Plus

Get ready to see some familiar faces on Disney+ in 2021 because Lucasfilm has just announced that Star Wars: The Bad Batch will be its next animated show!

If the name sounds familiar then you'll most likely remember that The Bad Batch was a group of clone mercenaries featured in the final season of The Clone Wars and now they're getting their own show.

The show will once again be executive produced by Dave Filoni, the mastermind behind The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian and will take place immediately after Order 66 and the rise of The Empire.

Here's a brief synopsis of the show:

The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch – a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army -- each possess a singular exceptional skill which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.

Also just a heads up that your social media might auto-correct The Bad Batch into "The Bad Bitch" so just watch out for that if you want to post about the show!
