2020 has already been a great year for Star Wars fans because not only did get one last season of The Clone Wars, but we're also getting a second season of The Mandalorian this year!
However, there's even better news: Rosario Dawson has been cast as the live-action version of Ahsoka Tano!
Ahsoka Tano was first introduced in Star Wars The Clone Wars in 2008 and has become one of most beloved characters in the Star Wars galaxy. The character also played an important role in the spin-off series Star Wars Rebels.
Both shows were created by Dave Filoni, who also happens to be the co-creator of The Mandalorian so it's awesome that he gets to bring his original character to live-action form.
In the animated shows, Ahsoka was played by Ashley Eckstein so it will be interesting to hear/see Rosario Dawson's take on the character, but now we have EVEN MORE reason to keep our Disney+ subscription.
