If you were planning on seeing the PlayStation 5 (PS5) at this year's E3 then I'm sorry to let your hopes down because Sony and PlayStation have announced that they WON'T be participating at E3 for the second year in a row.
E3 takes place every year in Los Angeles in June and is organized by the Entertainment Software Association and is essentially the "Hallowed Grounds" for every gamer! Not only do you get to witness the big announcements of new video games, but you even get to play them before anyone else in the world can.
Sony skipped the event last year because it said it didn't have anything really to share at the event, but with the PS5 coming out later this year it will be interesting to see what Sony plans on doing with the console set to come out this Fall!
