Robert Pattinson has now been CONFIRMED to star as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Matt Reeves' The Batman according to Deadline. Pattinson will lead a new trilogy of films with The Batman releasing on June 25, 2021!

Robert Pattinson is the new BATMAN!!
At least he is in the running because according to Variety the Twilight actor is the front-runner and close to signing on for the role.
The interesting thing is that other sources are claiming the decision hasn't been finalized because they are saying Nicholas Hoult, Beast from X-Men: Dark Phoenix, is also still in the running.
The next Batman movie will be directed by Matt Reeves and is tentatively titled The Batman. It's supposed to focus on a younger Batman so Pattinson or Hoult would be great in that role.
